The Mythical Creatures and Monsters sock yarn club will be shipped via 1st class mail through the USPS. Each month you will receive one skein of Bad Kitty sock yarn (bases will vary) in a colorway inspired by a Mythical Creature or Monster! These colorways will be exclusive to the club.You have the option of choosing a hand painted yarn or a self striping yarn subscription.
This club is a year long club with several buying options:
Monthly Subscription:Your paypal account will be charged monthly for 1 month’s shipment at a time (9 payments).Payment is made one month in advance.(billing will be automatic for length of the club unless you cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle).

I would like to announce to any who admire the fibers but don’t spin, I can offer the services of myself or my daughter to spin it up for you.
You tell us what weight you would like your yarn, ie: sock, worsted, bulky and we will get it as close as we can to that (no one is perfect). For singles it would be $10 for 2 – 3 oz of fiber. If you would like it plied with a solid lace weight strand (that is not handspun) it will cost $12 for a skein.
If you would like it plied with itself it will be $12 a skein. If you want it Navajo plyed (3 ply) it will cost $15 a skein. This is in addition to the cost of the fiber.

Here is an example of some of my daughter’s handspun:
I was having a discussion with a friend about knitting socks and was talking about showing them off and how everyone will want her to knit them a pair. I stated that she will respond with “nope, you are not sock worthy”. That made me think, what are your levels of knitting worthiness?
I have a few levels:
Hat/scarf worthy – almost anyone who is a friend and appreciates my knitting or makes complimentary remarks about my knitting. I will make them a hat or a scarf for a gift or sometimes by request.
Sock worthy – Not very many people reach this level, I have made a pair for my youngest daughter, but she never wore them so I took them back. I make them for my granddaughter, and she wears them whenever her mommy can find them and put them on her. So she is sock worthy. Pretty much anyone else who has been sock worthy I have just taught them to knit their own. I am sock worthy! 
Sweater worthy – Nope! I knit sweaters for babies and that is it! I have made 1 sweater for me and I wore it a few times and frogged it because it was just too big. I haven’t gotten around to remaking it yet.
Shawl worthy – I am lace challenged. I am trying to work on it, but it usually fights back. I have 2 people I have tried to make shawls for, my mom and my bff. They are both still on the needles (note to self: buy replacement tips from knitpicks) and I will finish them…eventually. Maybe if I could ever perfect the lace thing without stabbing myself in the eye I will make more people shawl worthy.
So, my question to you is:

This sock club will feature yarns to tempt and tantalize Tim Burton fans of all ages! It will include yarns inspired by all the various and spectacular Tim Burton movies! (image in this post is an example only and is not necessarily what will be included in the club shipments).
The ALL ABOUT BURTON sock club is on sale until January 31st or until reservations run out. The first month’s shipments will go out the week of February 20th and will be shipped 1st Class via the USPS. Each month you will receive one skein of the Sproingy Kitty sock yarn in a colorway inspired by a character or theme of a Tim Burton film! These colorways will be exclusive to the club.
This club is a three month club and will send out yarn in February, March and April of 2011. If this is a gift purchase, please include the message you want on the card. Packing slips will not be included in gift orders unless requested.
These colorways will not be available outside of the club until August 2011. All members will have the option of ordering additional skeins in their colorways at any time during the club and will receive a discount code to use for additional purchases during the club run.

There is no extra charge for shipping within the US & Canada however, there is an additional fee of $12 USD for other international customers due to postage costs.

Well, it has been a crazy month! We finally got moved and somewhat settled into the new house. The good part about this is that I now have a new studio!!! It is 3 times the size of my last one, however I have still, somehow, managed to fill it to bursting with all my fibery stuffs! I still have a lot of work to do in there organizing and getting unpacked, but I am LOVING how it is coming out! I will get pictures taken when I get it all set up! 
I also have a place for a dye lab! This really has me excited! I have a large counter top and I have many promises for a utility sink to go in soon! Add a few heating elements and I am ready to go! I must say I am going to enjoy working in there much more than in the kitchen! I think my production will be going up very soon!

I have added new lines of yarns, I call my Merino/Nylon sock yarn Sproingy Kitty. I have a scrumptious 100% BFL sock yarn called BeautiFuL Kitty. My 100% Peruvian yarn is called Snuggly Kitty. I will also be introducing my recycled yarn line called Rescue Kitty! Watch for that coming soon!
I will be updating this weekend with some new yarns! I have some really beautiful colors and I will be breaking out the dye-pot this afternoon and adding even more soon!
There are all kinds of wonderful things going on over at Nerd Girl Yarns! Nerd Girl has added 2 new lines to her yarns and she has a Sock Yarn Club that is going live on Nov. 1st! You know you don’t want to miss that!
There will be lost of new adds over the next 2 weeks to the yarn shop! We are in the process of restocking now and I will be adding to the Bad Kitty line very soon! Stay tuned for Upcycled Yarns and brand new yummy Hands spuns from my very own wheel!
